Documents required to open a Demat & Trading account online?

To open an account online, you will need to provide the following documents:

Pan Card

PAN

Your PAN (Permanent Account Number) which has your signature under the “Applicant signature” section

Proof of Address

Proof of Address

Passport, Driving license, Voter’s ID, Aadhaar card (any one)

Aadhaar Card

Aadhaar card linked Mobile Number

A mobile number that is linked to your Aadhaar card (this is mandatory in order to receive an OTP and e-sign the account opening form).

Bank Proof

Bank Proof

Tradebulls will deposit a small amount (upto ₹ 1) into your bank account as per the details entered by you to verify your name & bank account details. If this method does not work, you will need to upload proof of your bank account (such as a cancelled cheque, a bank statement for last 3 months)
Note - The bank proof should include your name, the bank’s logo/signature/stamp, your account number, the IFSC and MICR code. If the cheque is not personalised, the bank statement should have both the IFSC and MICR code printed.

A scanned copy of your signature. The signature must be made on plain white paper with a ballpoint or ink pen - markers or sketch pens are not allowed.

If you want to trade in F&O (futures and options)/Commodities/Currency segments

  • A bank statement for the last 6 months (The statement must be in your name.)
  • The latest salary slip of last 3 months
  • ITR (income tax return) for last 2 years
  • Form 16
  • A certificate of net worth
  • A statement of demat holdings showing current holdings with a value of more than ₹10,000.
